Dog Waste Piling Up?
We Can Help!
DoodyCalls Unlimited is setting the standard in dog waste solutions for homeowners and communities in the Raleigh area. We specialize in pet waste station sales, installation, service and maintenance, as well as common area cleanings and community dog waste education. With our dedicated team handling every aspect of the job, community association managers can allocate more time and resources on the tasks with the highest impact for improving resident satisfaction. Our consistent service, paired with quality products that are tailored to dog owners, ultimately contributes to cleaner common areas, playgrounds, and walkways.
Here is what you can expect when working with DoodyCalls:
- A comprehensive pet waste management plan drawn up specifically for your community by one of our experts
- Budget-friendly solutions for neighborhoods of every size
The most popular solution is our managed service program currently available to communities in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Morrisville. Participants in the managed service receive durable aluminum stations FREE of charge for signing an annual service agreement and using our dog waste station service for at least a year. DoodyCalls Unlimited will install the stations, service them weekly, and inventory supplies while charging communities monthly for the service and the dog waste bags used. (The only upfront costs of the program are for the station installation and shipping and handling.)
If you still wonder if proper dog waste disposal is really a necessity, we would recommend to you reading the following excerpt from the animal control information page of the City of Raleigh:
When animal feces are not removed as required by law, rain water carries them into the storm drains. The City’s stormwater system is separate and does not treat water. This gravity-directed system merely carries stormwater complete with litter, including animal feces, on its natural path to the creeks and streams that feed into the Neuse River — a source of drinking water for millions of North Carolinians.
Our Doody-Free Water Project addresses the issue of animal feces in stormwater by raising awareness about the environmental impact of dog waste and expanding public access to dog waste bags. DoodyCalls Unlimited has donated 15,000 bags to area parks and greenways in partnership with the Raleigh Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources. With the help of community managers, we distributed information postcards linking dog waste and stormwater runoff pollution as part of the Informed Consumer Initiative of the NC Department of Environmental Education.
DoodyCalls makes available to community managers an extensive library of professionally written newsletter articles for educating residents about dog waste pollution and prevention.
