We have recently heard that the CTA act has been paused. Is the pause still in effect? What is the best way to get information on when the CTA may become effective again? Thank you.

Hi Thomas,
As of February 9, 2025, the Corporate Transparency Act is on pause. Reporting companies are, therefore, not currently required to file beneficial ownership information with FinCEN. However, reporting companies may continue to voluntarily submit beneficial ownership information reports, free of charge, using FinCEN’s E-Filing system.
