Our HOA board has allowed a Rules & Regulations committee to be formed. They are refusing to make public who is on the committee and what they are discussing. Is this legal, or do we as HO have the right to know who these people are?

Hi Debra,
There is no statewide law that explicitly requires disclosure of committee members or agendas. Check your HOA’s bylaws or declaration to see if they allow secret committees. That said, Pennsylvania Uniform Planned Community Act Section 5316 specifies that an HOA must make all financial and other records available for examination by owners. This might include committee reports and meeting minutes.
