The two companies that comprise FirstService Residential Texas include Association Management, Inc., founded in 1979, and Premier Communities, which began nearly two decades ago. Both companies were the leading association management companies in their local markets, and over the years, continued to expand their services to include physical, administrative, accounting and financial services, real estate leasing and brokerage services, developer consulting and more.
Today, as FirstService Residential Texas, our combined company services communities off all types in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, and we are recognized as one of the leading property management companies in the state.
In 2007 and 2010, Premier and AMI, respectively, became part of FirstService Residential, one of the largest homeowners association management company in North America. This affiliation enabled our team to leverage the organization’s many differentiating programs and industry-leading services to benefit our clients.
Another major company milestone occurred in June 2013 when FirstService Residential united all of its management companies under one brand. At that time, our combined companies became FirstService Residential Texas. The rebranding strengthens the visibility of our affiliation with FirstService Residential and facilitates our ability to share best practices, collective resources and corporate resources. And as an added benefit, we can still offer the local Dallas, Houston and surrounding areas our extensive market knowledge , trusted relationships and focus on customer service that have made us one of the leading management companies throughout Texas.
