Do you know who ows the homes? The homeowners should really be the ones responsible for taking care of their property and making sure no one illegally squats there.

Yes we know the owners but they don’t seem to care as some of them haven’t lived or returned here in a long time and have just abandoned their homes in essence… Neighbors are concerned as squatters can drive down property values and make the neighborhood feel unsafe…

AFAIK, the HOA doesn’t have the power to evict squatters since the HOA doesn’t technically own the homes. Again, the owners should be notified.

Hey, if they ain’t harming nobody and the owners don’t care, I don’t see why you can’t just let the squatters live there. Seems like they can take better care of the property.
