I have a contract for this non-HOA land, but a few legal minds have told me the opposite- that the purchased land will be under HOA rules. Seems wrong to me, as the land would have to somehow automatically revert from one Zoning Filing to another for this to be true, and County Filings are historical. The CCRs have nothing about non-HOA land addition, and yet the County is requiring a HOA Architectural Committee approval as a submission. I may have to seek counsel. Can you recommend a good legal firm to represent a homeowner in this matter?
