Basketball Hoops in Arizona HOAs

When a hoa gives someone, an approval say for a baskeball hoop and the noise disturbs the surrounding people that don’t want it what is the next course of action. Souldn’t the hoa board notified the surrounding properties before approving this?tks

The HOA board does not necessarily have to be the one to notify the neighbors of the basketball hoop. It depends on the governing documents of the association. Make sure to review your HOA’s bylaws and CC&Rs for guidance. You may also want to approach your neighbors individually and explain the situation to them. Perhaps you can reach a compromise, such as only using the basketball hoop during certain hours of the day.
