Question:
Our board lets us speak for 3 minutes but they NEVER answer questions asked or address issues unless it’s in their interest it seems.
– Barb
Answer:
Hi Barb,
It is common practice for an HOA board to allow homeowners a few minutes each to raise concerns during an open board meeting. However, the board is not required to address raised concerns right then and there. Boards must follow the meeting agenda. As such, if a concern is not on the agenda, it will be tabled for discussion at the next board meeting.
