I was told at a condo board meeting g that once you raise the maintainer fee it by law cannot be reversed .

It is generally possible for an association to lower condo dues. The Florida Condominiums Act Section 718.116 talks about assessments in condominiums. The section does not mention increased assessments that cannot be reversed. However, you should also read your condo’s governing documents to see if there is a provision concerning this matter.
