We are a fairly new board and recently held an election to update our bylaws. We have some of our members already on our FB page asking for the election results. Can we post the results on our FB page as well as mail them out? Any help would be appreciated.
It depends on your HOA’s governing documents. If your governing documents permit the distribution of results through electronic means or social media pages such as Facebook, then you may certainly do so. It is always best to follow the procedures laid out in your CC&Rs and bylaws to avoid legal liability.
