Question:
I am in the process of purchasing a condo. The lender has been requesting various information from the HOA management company to satisfy the requirements and guidelines for a conventional loan. The HOA management company has been unresponsive at best. When they do reply, it never fully answers all of the items.
We have had to extend our closing date twice while awaiting the management company to provide the complete questionnaire to the lender. No end in sight.

Contact the seller (or the seller’s agent) of the condo unit your’e purchasing. It is customary for the seller to provide all pertinent details about the HOA to the buyer. If you’re purchasing directly from the developer, the developer should be able to provide you with the documents you need.
