E-Voting Tallies and Results in Minnesota HOA

This is in regard to e-mail voting.

When a vote is taken, should the tally of the vote be provided to each board member?

When a vote is taken, should the names of those who voted be provided to each board member?

Should the vote information be included in the minutes of the next regular in person board meeting?

Generally, board members are present when votes are tallied. That being said, you should check your governing documents to understand your specific voting procedures. Voting information is generally included in the meeting minutes as well, though you may choose not to go into the smaller details. It depends on the requirements of your bylaws and CC&Rs. As for providing names, it also depends on your governing documents. However, if it is a secret ballot, then the identities must remain anonymous.
