Elections Committee Member Running for HOA Board

Generally, all members of an HOA are eligible to serve on the board. That said, you should also check your bylaws to see if this is permitted in your community. To avoid conflicts of interest, the committee member may also want to leave the elections committee or recuse themselves from all decisions concerning the current elections if they wish to run for the board.
