Good day. I believe the HOA is defunct. They will not answer the phone, respond to emails and a letter was returned unsigned that they had to sign to receive. What can we do? There are many others complaining and have no idea what is going on. What do we need to do now?

Check your association’s governing documents to see what steps you can take from here. It may be worth visiting your HOA if it has a physical office. Find out who your HOA’s board members are so you can contact them directly. It may also be helpful to seek help from the Office of the Common Interest Community Ombudsman.
