HOA Board Not Fixing Broken Gate and Cameras

Hoa our gate was broken at least a year and in the mean time both my cars were stolen out of my garage also there are cameras to monitor the roads they disconnected them and raised my dues to 125 to 170 I’m paying for things that are not protecting our community now they homeless came in and drilled my sons ignition to try and steal it this is the 3rd car of ours that was vandalized now she is going to tow it because it’s been sitting there for 2 weeks broken down we have no money to fix it and after all this it’s put me in a financial bind I’m 17000 in dept over this they stole my jeep and my sons other car that was parked in my garage they broke In our garage and stole them and who know what else could happened our life’s where put in danger because she couldn’t get the gate fixed for a year. Fake camera they disconnected them because she didn’t want to pay the bills I have witnesses too

Hi Wendy,

You may raise the issue of the broken gate and cameras with the HOA board by bringing these up at a board meeting or contacting the board. Exhaust all forms of communication. If the board does not act, you may opt to remove the problem board member(s). You may remove the board members according to the Washington Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act Section 64.90.520.
