I have a meeting with my board and HOA to appeal a fine. I know with health insurance you can utilize a second and third level appeal. Do I have those same rights with the HOA if the first level appeal doesn’t get approved? Thank you

The Florida HOA Act currently does not address this, though it does require associations to provide members with an opportunity to be heard. Generally, members are only given one chance for a hearing. That said, you should check your governing documents to make sure.
