Question:
In Utah, can an HOA revise their CC&R’s with only 51% vote or does it take a super majority of 67%?
– Cynthia
Answer:
Hi Cynthia,
It depends on your governing documents. As perĀ Utah law, the governing documents may not require more than 67% of voting interests to amend the governing documents unless the amendment affects lot boundaries or members’ voting rights. As such, you should check what your governing documents require.
