Question:
I’m on the HOA board. We need to update governing documents to comply with federal, state, county law. Our present documents require a 2/3rds vote to approve a motion. There are 221 homeowners and that means 148 votes required to approve a motion. Of the 221 ballots sent out 73 never returned them, or responded to phone calls etc. What can the board do to get those 73 to return the ballots voting one way or the other?
