Question:
Is there a limitation on the amount of an increase (percentage?) in HOA fees in one year in Ohio?
– Jeanette
Answer:
Hi Jeanette,
Ohio law currently does not place a cap on HOA fee increases. That said, you should check your governing documents. Your association’s governing documents may dictate a limit when it comes to fee increases (if any). If not, then the board can generally raise fees as much as they see fit to meet the budget.
