Notice of Late Fees in Pennsylvania Condos

Question:

Is the hoa legally bound to inform owner of late fees being added to their account ? is there a condo association statute which explains this ? how much notice has to be given to the unit owner ? the owner was paying hoa fees each month but sometimes late an incurred a late fee . should the owner be informed prior to being put into collections

Although the Pennsylvania Uniform Condominium Act does not require the condo to send a notice of late fees, your governing documents might. Make sure to check your bylaws and CC&Rs to understand the procedures that your condo must go through when charging late fees, including any notice requirements.
