Paying Unpaid Dues After Foreclosure

I got the property from foreclosure.
Found out that previous HOA put a lien.
Now there is new HOA.
Do I need to pay the HOA for the delinquency of the previous owne

Hi Zippora,

If you bought the property through a foreclosure sale, then the proceeds from the sale should have covered the outstanding debt attached to the property (the previous owner’s unpaid dues). However, the new owner (you) is responsible for any HOA dues thereafter.
