Question:
I have been living in a HOA since 2003 recently my garage was broken into, gas was lawn equipment stolen I want too install a 6’ fence to block entrance from the backend of the garage I’m on SSI and disabled and we never had too pay for a permit 50.00$ I put an antenna on my house got the permit at no cost . I had permission from the last property manager but she quit please advise me of my rights I am 73 years old

You should check if the permit is mandated by the local government or your HOA. If it is mandated by your HOA, check your governing documents to see if they give the association the authority to charge a fee for putting up a fence.
