Question:
Male HOA president threatens a female board member by saying “I will take you down” and “I will hit you”. He’s a lot bigger than the female. He then had the board agree never to mention this incident.
I would like to know what can be done to this board. who would agree to cover up this guy’s behavior.

You or the female board member may file a complaint with the HOA board. If they refuse to hear you out, you may opt to remove the problem board member(s) according to the provisions of the governing documents. It may also be wise to document the incident and seek legal counsel.
