Question:
I rent in a condominium with HOA. The parking is limited. We are allowed to one parking space and we had to fight for the few visitor parking space since we have two vehicles. I understood that visitor parking were for visitors. My daughter came to visit us on Sunday July 30th and park in a visitor parking space at day, and the towing company came and towed her car between 2:00 pm and 2:15 pm. There is anything legal to stop the abuse of this HOA and their ridiculous nonsense parking regulations?

Answer:
Hi Marlon,
A condo association can generally tow improperly parked vehicles in a space owned by the association. However, there are some general rules an association must follow. It must have a towing policy and post a sign in the towing zone. The association must also give you proper notice before towing.
