Question:
Does a nice legit yurt satisfy the CC&R for dwelling in Miloli beach lots subdivision? It states only a single family residence is to be built and states no temporary structure like trailers or tents m, but this would be a permanent home structure. Pacific Yurts or Yurts of Hawaii would be good examples.

Answer:
Hi Michelle,
Single-family homes typically refer to fully detached, semi-detached, row houses and townhouses so it may not qualify if the CC&Rs state only single-family residences are allowed. Yurts are also typically regarded as temporary structures. However, you may consult a lawyer for further advice.
