Gordon James Real Estate Services

Gordon James Real Estate Services is a privately held firm dedicated to providing the full spectrum of property management services for single-family, multi-family, and condo associations throughout The Greater Washington Metropolitan Area and New York City.

With over 35 years of combined experience, Gordon James Real Estate Services is built on the premise of proactive management — taking this approach vs. a reactive approach to HOA management provides our clients with a higher level of service and one that our current clients have come to expect. This aligns with our vision of protecting and maintaining the building’s integrity and the community we work with by taking the workload off from the Board and the clients.

Our Community Management Approach is based on simplicity, authenticity, and teamwork. We’ll work with you to establish a recurring preventive maintenance schedule to ensure the building stays at its best. Our clients have access to an extensive network of trusted contractors who provide dependable work at a fair price, eliminating the complications of negotiating and coordinating with unknown third party contractors.

Every portfolio manager is CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) certified. For communities above 25 units, the portfolio manager will have 5+ years of experience with our company.

With our versatile online portal, utilizing the salesforce.com platform, we centralize all essential association information needed for effective community management with all the administrative components, including contracts, vendor information, task lists, and more. Our client can also use the portal to collect assessments and other financial receivables, further streamlining your community’s administrative aspects. Our online portal Iso provides the notification function that allows the Board to send out building-wide or exclusive unit-owner notices and updates directly from the portal.

We effectively manage the reserve fund of the association or institution. We handle the routine work involved with property management — from record-keeping to rule enforcement to contract analysis. We’ll work with our client to determine an accounting and reporting structure that best fits the community’s needs.
