I’ve been driving around with a battery that’s clearly on its last legs for the past few weeks, I know I should have sorted it out sooner but life got busy and I kept hoping it would hold on a bit longer, and of course it finally gave up on me this morning right outside my office in Musaffah which is just typical timing honestly. I’ve been looking into Volcan batteries because a few of my colleagues at work have mentioned they’re a solid choice for the price, not the cheapest option out there but apparently they hold up pretty well in the heat and don’t cost a fortune like some of the premium European brands. The problem is I’m not really familiar with the battery shops in Musaffah and I don’t want to just walk into the first place I see and get ripped off, especially since I’ve heard there are some places that sell knockoffs or old stock that’s been sitting on the shelf for ages and won’t last five minutes. I was searching online and I came across a mention of Premium Volcan batteries in Musaffah, which caught my attention because it suggests they actually stock the good stuff rather than just whatever they can get cheap, but I’m always a bit wary of trusting online listings without some proper validation from people who’ve actually shopped there. Has anyone here bought a Volcan battery from a shop in Musaffah recently and can tell me if the place was decent and whether the pricing was fair? I’m particularly keen to know if they had the right spec for my car and if they actually knew what they were talking about rather than just trying to sell me the most expensive thing they had in stock. Any honest recommendations from people who’ve actually been there would be massively helpful right now because I need to get this sorted before I end up stranded again.
