Can a homeowner put any item in their front yard and call it a religious display? For example, a large piece of art that no one else would consider “religious”….but the homeowner does.

Religious displays are quite tricky because you don’t want to violate the Fair Housing Act. But then if your HOA has strict architectural guidelines about decorations or displays, you might be able to regulate those.
