Yeah, this happens to me a lot.
It’s strange because you know it’s something small, but your mind just keeps replaying it anyway. I’ve had entire moods ruined by one tiny interaction. It usually ties back to anxiety for me. My brain starts overanalyzing and won’t let it go.
What helps a bit is grounding myself in something real. Even just sitting with my pet and focusing on them can interrupt that loop. I actually went through My ESA Therapist to get them recognized, and while it didn’t stop those thoughts completely, it gave me something consistent to lean on.
